Performance coaching from ACE...
We are first and foremost archery coaches and archers. Within ACE we have county coach and coach grade archers available for either one-to-one or group coaching. We can offer single sessions or a more structured development and coaching plan.
Our experience includes working with archers shooting for England and master bowman through to archers in their first year.
We take a holistic view of coaching and we can help with everything from form through nutrition, equipment and tournament preparation etc.
As a coaching organisation we coach archers whether recurve, compound, traditional and have slow-motion video analysis tools, tuning tools, chronometers etc. available to help get your or your kit performing to its best.
Our Workshops...
Announcing the next three-part Video Analysis Workshop at our Sussex base!
Beginning 17th April with parts 2 & 3 being 24th April and 8th May!
Run over three dates we will use video techniques to record and analyse your current form and work with you on improvements.
During the first session you will start on developing customised action and practice plans based upon your own objectives and assessments and be videoed for analysis. During the following week we'll hold the second session and review your video and develop your customised plan and practice log. The third session will be used to video again and compare with the original and the practice plan and log to work on an ongoing plan of improvement.
With few exceptions there are no quick-fixes in archery as you strive to become more consistent and this is why the workshops are divided into three bite-sized chunks. So, totalling 16 hours, each session builds upon the previous.
These are busy sessions involving a lot of shooting, discussion and positive reinforcement. At the end of the session you will receive a personal copy of your videos together with a 7-day fully-working copy of the analysis software and your coaches notes.
Beyond The Beginner workshop at our Sussex base!

A very full day of coaching involving education, hands-on coaching and lots of shooting.
This is a very structured workshop designed to take you to a competitive level and is ideal for anyone in their first one to three years of archery that has had little exposure to professional coaching and would like to progress.
During the workshop we can help you with form (technique) and equipment as well as preparation and you will receive notes and handouts to take away with you.
We maintain a high Coach:Archer ratio so that you are assured lots of attention and our coaches are all fully qualified and current in their licensing and knowledge. Archers that have been on our workshops are able to continue to develop through our free e-mail support.
Our Beyond The Beginner workshop is also good preparation for you should you join our Video Analysis Workshop at a later date.
