Ever fancied becoming a coach yourself?

ACE are about to run a Level 1 coach course that is available to any senior GNAS affiliated archer and spaces are available.

You would need to attend 30 hours of formal training spread over four days. You would then need a period of supported practice (normally at your club) with the support of your nominated mentor. This is followed by an internal assessment and then the final external assessment. The assessments sound daunting but in reality are a session of observed teaching of beginners by a coach trained as an assessor.

Level 1 is the first stage in coaching development and is a requirement for anyone wishing to move on to Level 2 coach.
